A dedication ceremony to celebrate renovations to Big Creek State Park is planned from 3 to 6:30pm today at the beach area, which is the largest beach in Iowa's state park system. Improvements were made to boat ramps, shelters and restrooms along with water quality efforts. Nine new cabana shelters are located along the beach edge.Wednesday, July 16, 2014.
