Our first lab mix was afraid to swim, so when Marley Jo came along I hoped she would be different. At a very young age she would go in the water but it took a few visits before she took off and actually swam. Making her first swim even better for me was using my new 100-400mm lens. Another yellow lab named Bella arrived and it was impossible to tell the two dogs apart as they played.
Thanks to Jonah and his lovely mother Lily for letting me hang out with them on a beautiful spring morning. Pudgy fingers and toes wiggled while the five-week-old struggled to stay awake. When we thought he was sleeping soundly, the click of my camera shutter caused him to stir and fuss. After having this happen three times, I decided the day's photo shoot was done. Sleep well Jonah, we will get more pictures next time.
